Executive Leadership Team


Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Dan is a visionary entrepreneur who’s founded multiple venture-backed companies & is recognized as an expert in online marketplaces, fragmented markets and technology-driven economies. In 1994, he founded PartMiner which became the first B2B virtual marketplace & exchange for the semiconductor industry. In 2004, Dan founded Portero, an online marketplace for luxury goods. In 2007, Dan founded Make Meaning, an innovative retail concept. Dan is also the bestselling author of FutureShop.


Founder & Chief Creative Officer

Derek is a seasoned marketing executive with over 11 years of experience specializing in communications, creative, content, branding & messaging. He has worked on both the brand and agency sides, first as Director of Marketing & Advertising at Penny Preville, and later, in business development for Elite SEM. Derek is a member of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association and has 25+ years of experience in the domain. He is also an accomplished writer who has produced works across all mediums.


Founder & Chief Revenue Officer

Mat is a seasoned private banker, spending over 13 years of his career on Wall Street working for Lehman Brothers, Barclays, and Wells Fargo. He focused on banking clients with disruptive and impactful business models. He has always had an entrepreneurial spirit launching several side ventures during his banking tenure. He is also an investor in several early-stage companies with transformative businesses. Mat is a sports nut, fantasy sports enthusiast and a member of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association.


Chief Financial Officer

Bill is a seasoned financial and operations executive with experience in the tech and consumer sectors. Bill has served as CFO for a variety of companies, including Portero; Synergy Technologies; and PartMiner. Prior to these roles, Bill was a Managing Director in the Technology Corporate Finance Group at Bear Stearns and advised media & tech clients at Salomon Brothers. Bill received his MBA and JD from the University of Chicago and his undergraduate degree in Economics from Harvard.


Chief Operating Officer

Mike is a veteran Silicon Valley start-up executive and entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in building gaming, advertising & monetization companies. Most recently, he led growth at mobile game developer and publisher FunPlus. Prior, Mike was Co-Founder & CEO of location gaming start-up Red Robot Labs, funded by top tier venture capital firms. Mike also held executive roles at social gaming startups Playdom & Crowdstar. Mike earned his degree from Santa Clara University.


Chief Marketing Officer

Tim served as Managing Director of the West Coast for Omnicom’s Sparks & Honey, a cultural consultancy that applies social and data sciences to Fortune 500 brands. Prior, he launched Greeno Bambino, an online retailer specializing in healthy products for kids. He began his career as a corporate litigator & later transitioned to lead development for TV/film production companies. Tim earned a JD/MBA from New York University & a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan.


EVP, Strategic Initiatives

Steven is a serial entrepreneur who has built, sold and consulted on Internet ventures and businesses for the past 30 years. Steven founded and sold GolfSpan.com, the
largest Internet video golf and distance learning company. Prior to that, he was the Director of Strategic Analysis for KSL Recreation and a foreign currency options trader for Swiss Bank. Steven has a B.S. in Economics from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Columbia University.


VP of Business Development

Casey has spent the past 10 years working in the sports industry, focused on business development and value creation. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in investment banking and later joined Creative Artists Agency Sports in athlete representation & business development. After CAA, he joined the business development and affiliate sales team at Time Warner Cable Sports. Most recently, Casey ran business development and sports programming for PodcastOne.


Chief Technology Officer

Mike is a 23-year Silicon Valley veteran with vast technical leadership skills. Mike served as Chief Architect of CyberSource Corporation working in enterprise payment systems and complex third-party integrations. Mike was also CTO & Co-Founder of Bionic Panda Games where he gained considerable mobile technology experience. As CTO of Keaton Row, Mike built multi-platform communication and e-commerce systems. He has also held engineering leadership roles at BitTorrent & Serious Business.


Chief Content Officer

Jeff’s career has spanned nearly 20 years in sports content, working for regional and national sports networks. In 2012, Jeff launched two new RSN’s featuring the Lakers and Dodgers as the head of programming, acquisitions and digital content for Time Warner Cable Sports. There, he developed the content strategy, programming slate and 24/7 schedule. Jeff also has extensive league experience. He worked for 10+ years at the NFL and NBA, in content and programming for NFL Network and NBA TV.


Investor Relations and League Development

Sean has spent the past 14+ years of his career in institutional business development roles. Most recently, he was the Director of Research Sales at Penserra Securities where he helped develop the primary research platform and established client relationships with institutional investors. He began his institutional career with Longbow Research and later transitioned to a role with Zelman & Associates. Sean earned an MBA from The Weatherhead School of Business and a BS from Miami University.

  • Joel LITVIN

    Joel served as the NBA’s President of League Operations from 2006 until stepping down in 2015 after 27 years with the league. He is a consultant to various sports properties, an adjunct professor in Columbia University’s sports management program, and on the boards of Madison Square Garden Networks, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, and USA Climbing.


    Joe is a renowned spokesperson and communications consultant. He served as White House Press Secretary as the Chief Spokesman and Senior Advisor to Bill Clinton & as Chief Communications Strategist for the NFL.

  • Mike LEVY

    Mike is the Founder and former CEO of SportsLine.com, a leading sports media company which published CBS SportsLine, NFL.com, PGATour.com and NCAASports.com. It was listed on NASDAQ from 1997-2004 when it was acquired by CBS.

  • Ryan MUNDY

    Ryan is a serial entrepreneur & Managing Director of Techlete Ventures where he invests in venture and digital asset opportunities. Ryan played 8 seasons in the NFL with the Giants, Bears & ‘09 Super Bowl Champ Steelers.

  • Randall KAPLAN

    Randall is the co-founder of Akamai Technologies, the global leader in Content Delivery Network service and a member of the S&P 500. As the founder and CEO of venture capital firm JUMP Investors, he has invested in more than 60 early-stage technology companies.

  • Woodrow LEVIN

    Woodrow has founded 4 companies across various industries and had successful exits. He is also an early investor, board member & advisor to DraftKings. He now runs his multi-strategy crypto fund, 3.0 Capital.

  • Happy WALTERS

    Happy is an entrepreneur, Founder & investor in numerous startup businesses with a diverse background spanning across the sports & entertainment sectors. Happy is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Catalyst Sports & Media.

  • Josh SWARTZ

    Josh has 20 years of experience as a sports & media executive, leading the largest sports marketing & talent firms, Wasserman Media Group & Relativity Sports. Josh serves as Co-Founder and President of Catalyst Sports & Media.


    Paul is the president of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association. Paul is also founder of the leading fantasy companies LeagueSafe.com and Fanball.com, and is widely recognized as one of the premier fantasy industry experts.

  • Andrew MASANTO

    Andrew is a serial entrepreneur and investor with vast expertise in technology, marketing, finance, and law. He has been the Founder of multiple successful businesses and was part of the founding team for Hashgraph.

  • Darren HEITNER

    Darren represents athletes, agents, entertainers and corporations in a variety of transactional and commercial litigation matters. He is the Co-Founder of Collegiate Sports Advisors, a Contributor at Forbes and Inc., and Founder/Chief Editor of Sports Agent Blog.

  • Shaun SHEIKH

    Shaun is Co-Founder and CEO of Jump 450 Media, which develops innovative media buying strategies for clients in competitive ad auction environments. He was selected as a Forbes 30 Under 30 for marketing and advertising in 2017.
